Robert Creighton is a celebrated Broadway actor, singer, dancer, and writer, most recently seen reprising the role of Timon in Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway. He also originated the role of the Duke of Weselton in Disney’s Frozen on Broadway.

His extensive Broadway credits include standout performances in The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Durdles), Anything Goes (Purser/Moonface), Chicago (Amos), The Little Mermaid (Chef Louis), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Jackie Mason’s Laughing Room Only.

Off-Broadway, Creighton co-authored and starred in the acclaimed musical Cagney, which ran for over 500 performances. The production is currently in development for a London run. His portrayal of James Cagney earned him the Fred Astaire Award for Outstanding Male Dancer and nominations for both the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Lead Actor in a Musical.

In New York theater, Creighton has also performed with the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park as Angelo in The Comedy of Errors, and starred in several productions with the New York City Center ENCORES! series. He appeared in two seasons with the New York City Opera at Lincoln Center, playing Njegus in The Merry Widow and Ko-Ko in The Mikado.

On television, he had a recurring role as Clarence Kolb in CBS’s The Good Fight, and has guest-starred on Elementary (CBS), Law & Order (NBC), The Family (ABC), and Life on Mars (ABC).

As a cabaret artist, Creighton’s solo show Ain’t We Got Fun! earned him the prestigious Bistro Award for Outstanding Entertainer. His debut album of the same name was released in 2012 on the LML Music label.
