About Melissa
Melissa Jacques is a West End star whose career spans some of London's most beloved productions. She was in the original West End cast of Mamma Mia! at the Prince Edward Theatre, and went on to play Trish in Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre. She has also performed the role of Madame Morrible in Wicked, with her other credits including Chess, My Fair Lady, and Into the Woods.
Melissa is perhaps best known for her role as Margaret in Everybody's Talking About Jamie at the Apollo Theatre, which she joined in 2018 and played to critical acclaim through the show's West End run, later reprising the role for the US premiere in Los Angeles. More recently she starred as Shelley in the UK and Ireland tour of I Should Be So Lucky. Her screen credits include Doctors, Disenchanted, and the film adaptation of Wicked.
