Mark Simmons

Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Mark Simmons has spent three decades turning a gift for making people laugh into a career that spans clubs, colleges and cruise ships worldwide. He is a BET ComicView regular, has appeared on Starz's Martin Lawrence's First Amendment Stand Up and HBO's P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy, and was a founding cast member and writer for the sketch troupe Forgotten City at Chicago's Second City. On screen he holds featured roles in Barbershop, Barbershop 2: Back in Business and Roll Bounce, plus the series South Side. Today he works as a guest entertainer for Carnival and Norwegian cruise lines, with a 45-minute clean set for all-ages rooms and a 120-minute adult set for late-night.
