Liam McEneaney is a stand-up comedian, writer, and filmmaker originally from New York City and now based in Los Angeles. Widely regarded as one of the top comedians working today, Liam has also built a career as a sought-after writer and producer.
His debut solo comedy special, Liam McEneaney: West Coasting, premiered on Amazon Prime in October 2025, blending personal storytelling with cultural commentary.
Liam began performing stand-up at 19, headlining colleges across the U.S. and touring internationally throughout Europe. By 24, he appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, followed by two seasons as a panelist on VH1's Best Week Ever. He has since performed on IFC's Comedy Drop and Showtime's Caroline Rhea & Friends, and is featured regularly on SiriusXM's comedy channels.
In 2013, Liam released his debut comedy album Liam McEneaney: Comedian (ASpecialThing Records), which debuted at #1 on both the iTunes and Amazon comedy charts. His follow-up, Working Class Fancy (Comedy Dynamics, 2016), remains a consistent bestseller across streaming platforms.
Liam also produced and starred in the acclaimed concert film Tell Your Friends! The Concert Film!, featuring Reggie Watts, Kurt Braunohler, Kristen Schaal, and Christian Finnegan, which premiered at SXSW. Featured by The Wall Street Journal and GQ Spain, his screenplays were named Academy Nicholl Fellowships quarterfinalists in both 2019 and 2024.
