Jeanna De Waal is one of the most sought-after actresses working on Broadway today. She originated and received a Drama Desk nomination for the title role in Diana, The Musical on Broadway and Netflix. On Broadway she has starred in Kinky Boots (Lauren) and American Idiot (Heather), and performed the role of Mrs. Lovett in the most recent revival of Sweeney Todd. Jeanna originated the role of Dawn in Waitress by Sara Bareilles and Mary Barrie in Finding Neverland, both directed by Diane Paulus at American Repertory Theater.
Off-Broadway, she co-starred in the two-hander play Orwell in America and played Chris Hargensen in MCC Theater's reimagined production of Carrie. She made her West End debut in the Queen musical We Will Rock You, and her other credits include Glinda in the national tour of Wicked and the title role in Mary Poppins. As a solo performer, Jeanna has graced stages from coast to coast, including sold-out runs at Carnegie Hall and 54 Below, and has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, and Vanity Fair.
