Named “Europe’s golden trombone” by the critics and Sweden’s Musician of the Year in 2005, Elias Faingersh has made the trombone a theatrical instrument all its own — dramatizing music with masterful live electronics. A graduate of Malmö Musikhögskola and the Manhattan School of Music, he has performed at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Lucerne Festival and the Royal Danish Opera, for European royalty and for presidents and prime ministers. His solo show Solo from the Pit ran Off-Broadway in New York.
