Astoria String Quartet.

The Astoria String Quartet began more than a decade ago as four conservatory classmates in Germany and has grown into a hand-picked circle of orchestral players, led by violinist and musical director Peter Matthias Mayer. Its musicians perform with orchestras including the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, the Beethoven Orchester Bonn and the WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne.

Fully acoustic and in black tie, the quartet draws on a book of more than 1,000 titles, from Handel, Mozart and Beethoven to bespoke arrangements of film scores and pop.
