Aisha Jackson, a proud Atlanta native, has been showcasing her versatile talents in New York and abroad for the past decade. Aisha's Broadway debut with the Tony-nominated hit Beautiful: The Carole King Musical was just the beginning. She's proudly been a part of the Original Broadway Casts of Waitress, Paradise Square, Once Upon A One More Time, and Disney's Frozen, where she made history as the first Black woman to play Anna on Broadway. Her proudest achievement was not just playing Anna but inspiring 'chocolate drops' to envision themselves as princesses. The countless times she heard, 'Mommy, she looks like me,' from Black and brown kids fuels her to continue creating roles for people of color to lead and shine bright. Most recently, Aisha stopped the show nightly as the star of Broadway's The Notebook, playing the role of Allie.
Her TV credits include the Hulu musical series Up Here, Apple TV's animated series Central Park, Amazon Prime's Harlem, and PBS' An Evening with Lerner and Loewe. She's also been a Soundtrack Vocalist for the films Dear Evan Hansen, Tick, Tick, Boom, and Hulu's Spirited. Her voice can be heard as the character of Mittens on Wondery Kids' Musical Podcast Melon's House Party.
